This annual event showcases the years most important photographic images. The photographs are displayed at the prestigious Galleria Carla Sozzani, and entry is free to all.

Maximal Festival

This one day event features over 50 international dance acts, who take to the stage and keep the crowd dancing with high energy music until the early hours of the morning. The are also a number of workshops, alternative performances and European food stalls.

Night at the Museums

The Milan International Council organizes an annual night of the museums, where a series of cultural events take place all over the city during the month of July. Many of the cities most prestigious museums such as the Museo del Risorgimento, and the Natural History Museum put on a number of workshops which are open to members of the public.

Latino Americano Expo

A cultural extravaganza that features a unique and authentic South American village, which aims to teach visitors important cultural information about Latin America and its people.

Milan International Film Festival

The largest film festival showcases films from around the world, and encourages entries from people of all backgrounds - including up and coming talent. Screenings are held in various venues around the city, while the Sala Grande is used for the main screening and competition finale.

Milana Moda Dona

Milan is a city most known for its fashion, and September sees the arrival of the Milana Moda Dona which showcases women's fashion for next years spring/summer. Tickets to the shows are notoriously hard to get hold of, and if you are not one of the lucky ones there are always a number of smaller shows held around the city.

La Scala Theatre

The Scala Theatre is one of the oldest and most loved theatres in the city. It opens its doors during the month of November up until Christmas. During this time period it is possible to see ballets, operas and theatrical performances.

Craftsman's Fair

Since its grand opening in 1996, the market has grown into a popular and extremely busy event, attracting hundreds of people who come to browse the huge range of goods on offer from talented international craftsmen.
