Within the city, Munich has one of the most comprehensive public transportation systems in the world, incorporating subways, suburban trains, trams and buses. The main train station is Munich Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) in the city centre, and there are two smaller main line stations at Pasing, in the west of the city, and Munich Ostbahnhof (East Station) in the east. ICE highspeed trains stop at each of these stations. Munich is now also connected to Nuremberg via Ingolstadt by a 300 km/h high speed railway line.
