Vegamót is an elegant but casual two floor restaurant, located in the heart of the city on Vegamótastígur. It is one of those places that have the wonderful quality of being all in one, restaurant, café and a bar. The decor is rich on the Mediterranean side, yet elegant with jazzy ambience. During the summer, tables are brought out to a cozy terrace sheltered from the wind where one can enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee.

Vegamót is known for the fresh fish of the day, a big and diverse menu and fair prices.

Food is served from 11am until 10pm every day. As the night progresses the atmosphere starts to change as DJ´s take over and Vegamót evolves into a popular bar.
